SPORTcoupe300
Finally got around to cleaning my headlights. I used the 2000 Grit wetsanding method finished by a coat of Meguiar's Scrath X (Scratch Remover) found at your local auto parts store for around $8 The pics are 300KB each so here are the links to them: Right headlight BEFORE Right headlight Wetsanding Right headlight Dried after wetsanding (Notice how cloudy it looks before the Scratch remover is applied. Right headlight AFTER I should have taken more pictures but I guess I can tell you in words. When you apply the scratch remover, rub it in pretty well and leave a thin coat to dry. Once it is dry (5-10 mins), use a clean, dry cloth to wipe it off....then do not wash the headlight for another hour (it need to dry all the way) I reccomend a microfiber cloth such as this one for the scrath remover part. I think that's it..... If there's any questions....feel free. Here are the important pics if you're too lazy to click links. SPORTcoupe300
Also did my stereo install this weekend. :D It sounds really nice and not as loud as I thought it would be (which is actually good for my ears and makes quality better) I found a decent stereo source in the Bay Area so if interested, lemme know. AWJ
Nice plates. I have the three step Novous poly carbonate cleaner. My passenger side light is a little less than shiny. Looks good. I'll have to give mine a shot when I get some time.
brucelee
Another approach on the headlights. Use a clay bar to get out the pollutants. Then use Mother's plastic cleaner. Night and day difference in look and feel. Takes about 5 minutes tops.
