stiffler1 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I have 04 lexus gx 470 and just had the rear brakes replaced by a local garage. Rear air ride is a max height and won't go back down. Is there a way to reset it? I have tried turning the height control button off but it doesn't fix it. I really could use a hand here because it goes back in a week cause the lease is over. Any suggestions? I believe that they didn't turn height control off when changing rear brakes and that caused the issue.
stiffler1 Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 We pulled fuse and found compressor and tried to bleed off but no luck. I think the computer needs to be reset. If anyone has any suggestions please post.
gordonw Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 It neither the compressor nor computer. Its most likely the rear height sensors need to be replaced.
The G Man Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Make sure the height sensor is connected, they may have disconnted it by accident. Bring it back to them and have them check it out.
