nc211 Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 We haven't had any political chatter in a while... I found this article recently and found it quite interesting. Not to incite old 9/11 feelings again, as I think they should rest in the history books for future generations to learn from, not act upon. But, this is quite interesting to review in light of today's environment. My my, how we've come... http://usatoday.com/news/poll001.htm
jcrome04 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Too bad ground zero is still a pile of ruble. What happened to the work ethic we used to have? Now we need 5 inspectors for 1 light switch! Ha :)

SW03ES Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Ground Zero still a pile of rubble? Pffft, ever been to NYC and looked at it? Ground Zero hasn't been a pile or rubble in years. Its a clear and buildable lot, has been for a long time. The development has been held up by a lot of different factors as the cool article Alan posted shows. Does this look like a pile of rubble? http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&...mp;t=k&z=16 Here's what it looked like after 9/11, I'd say they made pretty good progress... http://www.stopgeek.com/wp-content/uploads...t_photo_911.jpg Saying that Ground Zero is a pile of rubble due to a lack of work ethic is a dispicable and offensive untruth. Many people worked very, very hard sifting through the rubble and cleaning up the site at the cost of their own health and unfortunately as the future will show us, their own lives. You should be ashamed of that statement.
