Love the car, but I've noticed a strong whinning noise in the rear end as I decelerate between 50 mph and 40 mph. I don't seem to remember hearing this noise when we test drove, or on the loaners we've received. Any thoughts?? Mike [email protected]
bobfromatl Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 This is a known problem. Happened to me and they applied fix that included changing out some transmission lines. Now if they would fix the clunking problems with the transmission on downshifting.
mikjr Posted December 19, 2003 Author Posted December 19, 2003 According to my dealer, he's telling me its common, but didn't indicate they'd fix it. The noise wasn't there when I bought the car, nor was it on the loaner I recently had. Did you have to PUSH the dealer to get it fixed??
