Q About Emergency Break

i have 08 GS300 i find the emergency break really weak, i took it to the dealer twice and they said its as tight as it could be but still if i park on a hill i have to push it down ALL THE WAY to get the car to kinda hang there while on Neutral... does anyone have this problem? i had an ES300 04 it held like a glue on half pressed break

My GS is the same way. If you are on a hill, you are suppose to push the e brake all the way down.

thats a shame, ES 04 holds better than GS 08

both my 02ES and my 06GS grab near the bottom.

I was skeptical with each so I parked on a hill, put on the e-brake and put it in Neutral.....They both held fine.

On occassion, I even put it in drive when the ebrake was on, it works.
