awhitjr
Can anyone shine some light on the problem with chipping paint?? I got my 350 in August and just spent 375.00 having a chip on the front fender painted (and the dealer did a very bad job I could have went to Maco and got a better paint job). I have other chips also. This car is driven by a female everyday and in my eyes this is not right. Am I wrong here or what? I have owned all types of cars and I have never had paint chip like this, when it chips it goes all the way to the metal and starts rusting. Am I going to have to keep paying to have this done or do I just let the thing rust out? All help here would be apperciated. Thanks!! Knightshade
EPA regulations have required recent models cars to use much softer paint. This is why many put a clear bra on their IS
Christian Baker
Just got the clear bra after two chips, the 3m cost me $400 for the hood, bumper, mirrors, and a 3" strip down the end of the doors. Best $400 I spent, road trip to Vegas and no new chips
