I have a 1994 ES300 with 135k miles

1. What should I get done for 135k miles?

2. My car jerks/jumps up then down when shifted from parking to reverse, what is the problem?

Last major service was done at 118k miles in 2006, I called, each dealer quote me differently. For $450 at Fremont, CA. This is what I'm getting.

Replace engine oil and filter

Replace EFI air intake filter

Replace transmission fluid

Replace differential fluid

Inspect engine coolant

Inspect battery electrolyte

Inspect power steering fluid

Inspect and adjust handbrake

Balance front tires

Inspect tires and set pressures

Inspect brake pads and rotors

Rotate tires

Inspect undercarriage

Inspect alternator drive belt

Lubricate chassis and hinges

Inspect wiper blades

Inspect and fill washer fluid

Inspect all lights

Add fuel treatment to clean out the fuel injectors

Complimentary car wash

What are some of the things that's actually needed? thanks. =]

I have a 94 also, you should check your motor mounts or transmission mounts with that park to reverse issue jerking. Also check your valve cover gaskets for seepage or leaks. The dogbone mount is real easy to replace. You can buy a dog bone mount at pep boys for $ 26.00.

Seems a bit high considering many of the items are 'inspect' (AKA look at). Most of those you can easily do yourself.

Inspect wiper blades, PS & washer fluid?

And why do they only suggest to balance the front tires only & after do a tire rotation?

Also, isn't the diif fluid just tranny fluid anyway? When you do a drain & fill on your tranny & not a seperate fluid? I could be wrong however because of the model year.

When was the last time you had a complete tune up on the car? Tell them for that price, you will bring all the necessary parts to them to install. ;)

Lexusfreak- You can't get mad at the guy on the price since that is 100% typical Lexus prices. Lexus LOVES the good-old inspect deal...It is free money!

But he is paying normal prices; $450 for about $100 worth of material..but he gets a free hack wash job too!
