jpl5030 Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 I took my 2003 ES300 in today for Arizona mandatory emissions testing. I bought the car in 04 from a Lexus dealer with approx 18,000 miles on it. This is the first time I have had to have the emissions checked in order to obtain this years license plate tag. Anyway, I pulled into the test station and they opened the drivers door and starting looking under the dash on the drivers side for a receptacle so they could plug in a cable to check the emissions system...after 3-4 people tried to find it, they told me I failed the emissions test because my car had been "tampered" with, because the receptacle wasn't there. Does anyone know where to find this receptacle? I can't believe it has been removed...I didn't even know it was there, and the car has never been in the shop since I bought it except for routine maintenance. Thanks
