My battery died (I left the car sit in my garage for 2 months).

I had to recharge the battery. Now my concern is the onboard computer memory is all wiped out now that the battery was totally dead.

Do I drive it for a few miles or is there another method to restore the data? I need to take the car for inspection and know that if the onboard computer data is cleared, you fail the test.

It happend to one of my other cars so I know this for a fact.

Anyone knows about Lexus RX 350?

Thanks,

Mark

You have to drive it to relearn the computer. It is at it's default factory setting after the battery is disconnected.
