rxdriver
I am in the process of sending the cd player out for repair. It is suffering from the infamous Error4. Can anyone offer advise on removing the wood trim from the gearshift panel. I'm worried about damaging the wood trim. Also can anyone confirm that the navigation and hvac functions will continue to work if the cd player/radio is removed? Thanks in advance for any input. I followed the suggestion in another post to use masking tape to prevent the thin paneling from cracking... I think it definitely helped... I didnt have any breaks or cracks afterwards.
