Pheasant96
Hello all, I purchased a factory wood wheel from a 1999 ES300, it's even the right color (lucky me) and my old airbag should fit onto this wheel, I hope? I want to install it into my 1998 ES300. I will disconnect the battery before disconnecting and removing the airbag. I am worried about triggering warning lights when I reconnect the battery after installation of the 99 wheel. I also cannot find the airbag fuse? Any helpful hints for me with this install. Thanks
TomWoodLexus
If the wheels are the same, transfer the old airbag over. Besides, disconnecting the airbag won't set a code off, there is no way for the computer to moniter the circuit, because the smallest amount of voltage would set it off. Lexusfreak
What year did Lexus install the de-powered airbags?
