xoom04 Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 iv seen some of the other members w/clear headlights for their cars and i want to know how to do it to my sc400. also, i plan on buying some xenon true white headlights and im wondering what voltage to get.
cjones23 Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 I used meguires scratch X. I was a little intimidated by the 2000 grit wetsanding process. I used Sylvania Silverstars. They give good illumination and look very much like Xenons. Whatever you do stay away from those cheap blue bulbs. No light = danger.
Sadistic Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 Before you buy "hyper white" bulbs, read this.. http://www.clearcorners.com/services/ Just extremely informative about the different types of headlights out there, and to give you a heads up before purchasing and installing such bulbs.
97SC Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Also when you "restore" your front headlamp lenses and you don't want that ugly orange bulb in your turn signal showing pick up a pair of Sylvania Halogen Silverstar 1157AST Bulbs at your local autoparts store, they are silver but emit orange light B)
