I previously posted a couple of weeks ago. My 94 ES came to a light and just shut down on me. When I tried to restart it it kept sputtering and would shut right down with the check engine light on. Had it towed and our mechanic had it for 3 weeks. Initially thought it was the Mass Air Flow Sensor but it was not. Nothing came up when they put it on the computer After the 3 weeks, we had it towed to Toyota. They went over it and said that nothing came up on the computer and couldn't find anything wrong it it. Brought it home - it actually drove ok for 3 miles and it did it again. It has now been towed back into Toyota. We are at a loss but the car is becoming unreliable as it is. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Throttle position sensor maybe sticking. ( I am guessing by your indication) Probably needs cleaning.
