  1. Lori, I have a mass-air for your car - HWY79Auto

  2. The red illumination of the needle indicator on the temp gauge has stopped working. Previously both the temp and fuel indicators stopped working and suddenly the fuel one came back on but the temp gauge concerns me. Any suggestions. Lori
  3. I previously posted a couple of weeks ago. My 94 ES came to a light and just shut down on me. When I tried to restart it it kept sputtering and would shut right down with the check engine light on. Had it towed and our mechanic had it for 3 weeks. Initially thought it was the Mass Air Flow Sensor but it was not. Nothing came up when they put it on the computer After the 3 weeks, we had it towed to Toyota. They went over it and said that nothing came up on the computer and couldn't find anything wrong it it. Brought it home - it actually drove ok for 3 miles and it did it again. It has now been towed back into Toyota. We are at a loss but the car is becoming unreliable as it is. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Lori
  4. I initially posted several weeks ago with a problem with what our mechanic said was the Mass Air Flow Sensor on my 94 ES 300. That was not the problem. After 3 weeks we had it towed to Toyota/Lexus and they could not find anything wrong with the car although we explained what it has been doing. Car died on me when stopped at a light and when I tried to restart - when I would accellerate the gas the car would spurt and die. We brought the car home from Toyota and now it's doing the same thing and I am afraid to drive it for fear it will break down on me again. We are going to have it towed back in but any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Lori :whistles:
  5. I have been online everywhere and because my car is production date 7/94 this part is very scarce for some reason - I'm finding parts with ending #'s of 20, 10 and even 40 but not 30 . I'll try what you've suggested and see if I have any luck. But, from what I'm being told, no codes come up when the car is put on the computer. Lori
  6. Having problems with my 94 ES300. Recently just shut off and checkengine light came on. Started back up but had problems keeping it running. When I put my foot on the gas it died and had to be towed in. The service center it's at has indicated that they believe it is the Mass Air Flow Sensor (OEM Part No. 22250-20030) however they cannot locate one and then if they could the cost is somewhere in the neighborhood of $900 for aftermarket and up. They said when it was put on the machine, no codes came up. I am concerned about paying this price and then findingout it was not the MAFS at all. Any help or input would be appreciated. Thanks Lori
  7. Hey, I saw your post on the cupholder and my 16 year old brat of a son was angry at me and slammed a drink down on the holder and now it leans forward and will not close and of course the ashtray and will not open. My husband says it is broke and I'll probably need a new one, however, can't find one anywhere, except Lexus for approximately $500 - YIKES. Any suggestions on its repair or locating one at a more reasonable price. :cries: :whistles:
