99blkgs Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 i want to remove my cats and replace it with an aftermarket header and down pipe and also o2 sims. i was wondering do the o2 sims completely replace the o2 sensor or go in between them and the header?? thanx in advance

TRD911 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 The post cat O2 sensors are fairly easy to replace / bypass / simulate. I have an 00 Tundra V8 that I designed and built a circuit to bypass them. All the post cat o2 Sensors check for is cat performance. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ENGINE MAPPING. B
