I am looking for a way to get the most out of the changer since it is not indash and requires more than just hitting the eject button. PIONEERSUBY Posted October 14, 2007 Share Posted October 14, 2007 Bump [/q the factroy 6 disc changer in the armrest box is a 6 disc cd dvd player so it plays regular audio cds and dvd movies through the nav screen when parked. if you have the factory rear entertainment dvd movie player located in the rear cargo right side is a 1 disc audio mp3 cd player and also a dvd movie player.; so if you have rear entainment system it adds a 2nd dvd movie and a cd player that plays mp3. most lexus models dont have any dvd movie players but 2004lx470 has 2 of the players which is quite unbelivable that the 6 disc console [player doesnts play the rear dvd movies. the 2001 and 2002 lx470 just have screen that play movie from the center console 6 disc movie player made by pioneer. in 2003 they stated charging extra for portside 2200.00 optional rear dvd player made by german company beckerwhich is fm modulated. so they went from high fidelity console dvd player which plays through the mark levinson system to a low fidelity fm modulated becker made system. so the 2000.00 mark levinson system isnt even used effectively with the 2200.00 optional usa rear entertainment system which is fm modulated.
