pamos Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 The other day I replaced the battery on my 2000 RX 300, was no problems, went to Autozone and they tested it and it was bad, bought a new one and 2 days later the check engine warning light came on as I was driving home. I read my manual and it said go to the dealership. I went to the Toyota dealership and they couldnt get me in until next week, fine I said is it safe to drive on, the guy said yes. Asked if the battery being changed had something to do w/ it. He said no it shouldnt. I drove around a little more and lo and behold the light went off. I was going to run it by Autozone and have them check the code to see what it meant, now I'm wondering if I should take it to the dealership or not. Anyone else have a problem like this when replacing the battery? <_<
