They have the new specifications of the 2008, apparently the pictures they have of it might show that the side mirrors did get changed and made a little bit smaller.

You can see the difference in the mirrors here. They're reshaped and smaller in the '08. Personally, I think that the '07 mirrors are safer due to the larger size. :)

I find the 08 side mirrors much more attractive and it fits better with the car, the 07 side mirros were huge and stood out.

I should have added that when parking and using the auto tilt feature it's really much better to have as much mirror surface as possible.

Example: The '08 ES mirrors are now very similar in size to the GS350 mirrors. I drive both my '07 ES350 and the '07 GS350 and I definitely find the ES mirrors better when parking.
