flyguy1996
This started not too long ago on my 92 LS400 with 122K miles. Sitting at idle, the engine RPM drops for just a split second and then returns to normal. This seems to happen regularly, and is especially noticeable on hot days. While driving under light throttle at pretty much any speed, you can feel the car jerking like the engine can't make up its mind if it wants to fire on all cylinders or not. Someone told me it's probably because the plug wires are old and there's arcing between the wires causing misfires. So I bought new plugs and a wireset which I'll put in this weekend to see if it helps, but anyone know any other reasons that would cause this? Thanks in advance! RFeldes
I would also add a can of seafoam to the tank on the next fill-up.
