VBdenny Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 Matthew McNally was kind enough to provide a link on this site to the slideshow I made showing how I replaced my RR brake Caliper. Hope you get a chance to check it out. Here is the link he provided. My Webpage
VMF Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 WOW Danny cool stuff! and in PDF. big as hell prolly. try powerpoint instead of acrobat. or u did it in linux?
VBdenny Posted September 6, 2003 Author Posted September 6, 2003 Naw I originally made it in Powerpoint but that was 1.71MB which got kicked back by hotmail and others. I converted it to PDF and got it down to 583KB. I emailed Matthew McNully and he made the link. I just posted it cause I knew some of you wanted to check it out. I started doing that with all the stuff I do so when I go to do it again, I'll remember how. I could kick myself for not doing it when I replaced the headlight bulbs. I tried to remember and even went out and started taking one apart. Man, I just forgot how I did it. Anyway, it keeps me out of trouble!
Jasoneo5 Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 It is also here: http://www.jasonelcan.com/index_page_files...PPSS%200803.ppt Thats the origional one he made!
LS400er Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 Thanks VBDenny, that was a very good presentation you made.
paca444 Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Thanks for the presentation. I've been having a lot of problems replacing the rear driver's side caliper in my 99 ES 300. Between the caliper holding the pads so that they only connect with the edge of the rotor, and not being able to get pressure back it has been quite a struggle. Maybe your slide show will help. Thanks
AzHotLS Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 paca444, if you haven't already found it, here is a great site with lots of tutorials: Lexls.com
