LexChamp
95LS I am looking to replace the Nakamichi Amp in my LS. Instead of taking it to a shop, I'll like to buy an amp and replace it. I am planning on having a friend do the job. I am planning on keeping the original 4" Door Speakers and Sub for now but in the future, I'll probably change the speaker to 5.25 or 6.5 size. Any suggestion on what type of amp I should get. I don’t know anything about watts, or brand. Basically I'm looking for a nice quality sound. I am looking to spend no more than $150.00 or maybe $200. Thanks
oslo
If you replace the factory amp with something aftermarket, you're going to lose the sub, unless you buy an amp for that as well. Or you could leave the factory amp in place just to power the sub, and get a 4 channel amp for the speakers.

I actually had a friend of mine that knows a lot about electronics. He has never worked on a Lexus or Nak System and he actually suggested the same thing. He said to get a 4 channel Amp for the speakers and keep everything the same. The other option was to get new head unit with amp and go from there. Better idea to buy that 4 Cha Amp. I'll call him back and confirm with him. Thank you again
