js0873 Posted August 15, 2007 Share Posted August 15, 2007 On my 2004 LS with mapping DVD software 4.2 I have noticed a problem with auto re-route. What I've determined is that if I'm within a fairly close distance to my final destination, say 1/2 mile, and I miss a turn that the voice guidance says to take, it will not re-route me or give me future guidance - until I get a certain distance away from the final destination. What I've actually determined is that if the final destination shows on the display screen, it simply won't re-route at all. Once the final destination is not on the display any more, re-routing immediately starts again. I have to believe that this is a problem, but the Lexus dealer thinks it may be working as designed (but he's checking). Is this true?
