matt_m427 Posted August 13, 2007 Share Posted August 13, 2007 I just ran a code diagnostic on my 1993 LS400 and came up with code 24 and 31. 24 - Intake air temperature sensor signal. 31 - Air flow meter signal. Prior to the check engine light appearing I removed the MAF and attempted to clean it with a bottle of MAF cleaner. I let the MAF dry for an hour, installed it, then went to crank up the car. When it started up, it began running at +- 300rpms and stalled and stuttered under any spirited acceleration . I've just replaced the plugs, wires, and fuel filter, so my question is, should I just purchase a new MAF assembly and see if that will remedy the problem?
