Driver Side Door

My driver side door will open from the inside, however, not from the outside. I took the panel off and there is a plastic click broke. Can you give me information on how to fix and put it back together? Also, what is the plastic piece called when trying to explain what part I will need for the car.

Ive just replaced the same thing on the passengers side of my car

go to oreilly auto parts and go and look for a door lock rod clips its a generic item but it works youll find the same one in a pack of 6
