Booyah
I have this High pitch whistle coming what seems like the front driver door area? It happens when I get up to 65-80. Its not the window sealing or Mirror thats doing it either. Bugs the crap out of me and I cannot locate it? Any help here--anyone else have or had this and what was the fix? 2004 RX330
lenore
Try putting some blue mastic tape over different areas of the door on the outside and then drive. Maybe you can isoate the area on the door where the noise is coming from. I suspect some of the rubber door seals are not making contact. GDixon
Another trick is to light a cigarette or something that smokes - like incense -in the car and have someone in the back seat (not you! ) hold it up to and around the door area during the noise to see where the smoke is drawn or deflected. That will at least identify the area. Try pushing or pulling on the door to see if the sound changes indicating a sealing problem. The sound may also change in sweeping right or left hand turns at speed indicating the same sealing problem as the body slightly flexes. I'm not sure if the door on your model can be adjusted but someone here should know. Maybe the Detailing and Car Care forum would have some answers.
