ROSS Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I wanted to know if anyone has noticed stiffer steering in the newer ls430's over the older 1994 ls400's? There seems to be alot more tension in the steering wheel on the ls430. Is there an adjustment to "loosen" it up?

ROSS Posted September 3, 2003 Author Posted September 3, 2003 It is stiffer at all speeds, like it has more tension and doesn't feel as smooth as the one on the 1994 version.

SW03ES Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 I seriously doubt it. You should check the power steering fluid to make sure there isn't a problem. If its THAT different its probably not normal.
