WannaBagDaSC
Sorry i also need to inquire about swapping the auto for a 6 speed man. any possibility?
UCF3
It's going to be the same as switching the SC300's engine with the GTE-6speed. If you're in dire need for more power, and you've done the basics (Intake, exhaust) somebody has super charged the sc400. You might want to search the AUstralian websites, since they've got the same Lexus brand as we do. The supercharger does clear the hood, with the one they did. Worth taking a look. AWJ
I would also recommend the idea of putting a turbo system on the v8 if it is in good condition. The swap thing is going to cost a lot of money. Going from the 1uz to a 2jz is gonna be a pita.
SPRUCE SC300
You can get the information for the V8 supercharger on http://planetsoarer.com/. I've see a hand full of SC400 on NOS and they move very well. V8 on NOS = :snoooorrrtttt: Good luck.
WannaBagDaSC
Ok i wasnt sure if the engine swap would be more than a TT setup (whenever one becomes available) i think it is going to be in the neighborhood of 10,000 for the TT setup. I would go for the supercharger I just think that might put too much strain on the engineits only got 104,000mi on it but i dont wanna romp on it too hard i still have to drive it for a year or so before its paid off so the longer it runs the better but thanx for the advice. p.s. is the 6-speed trans still available for the V-8 or is it only for the 6? Thanx again
