SexyLexy430NY
HEY, I have a 2001 Gs430. When i give gas, I receieve vibration from my back wheels, they are not my tires rotating, but almost shaking... They are on firm, and I know they are not hte best tires, but when i am going around 40mph, it is normal.. When i go around speeds of 75 onwards and especially at 80.. My steering wheel shakes.. I am assuming these Possibilities. 1. SHI*Y / Not Right Tires. 2. Wheel Alignment 3. Tire Balancing. let me know id anyone has ideas, thanks

If you plan to keep your car for a long time, invest in good tires. You will feel the difference. If you paid for a road hazard when you first purchased your tires, balancing should be free of charge. Does your car have All Wheel Drive? How does it drive in the winter? 4everyota
it could be that your tires are not balanced and there is something wrong with the alignment.. it would be best to checked on your toyota wheels.. good luck.. by the way, have you done tune-up lately? SexyLexy430NY
the vibration im getting from the rear...seems to have something to do with the bearings...NOTTT!!! thats what i thought! replaced the bearings..cost me a lot.. but it didnt solve it!! Im pretty sure I need new control arms in the back and that will get rid of the vibration, but its not major! The vibration.shaking i got in my steeering turned out A LOTTT of posts.. This was the result: I still have vibration after tire rotation and alignment. I am going to get ROAD FORCE Balancing from a Hunter balancing maching. This should solve the problem!! I heard it is very PINPOINT and exact! if it doesnt, I am gonna make sure my rims arent warped and my tires are all round. If that doesnt solve it...I give upp :-\ it may also be sticking calipers which is doubtful, or i heard going abck and amking sure I have factory lugnuts will also solve the problem. And after searching about my tires, I realized they are not bad and they match my facotry specifications! Hope i helped someone who is having the same problems as me!! djspawn00
new tires solved the problem for me... often when you take off a tire thats been mounted a long time you'll get a bunch of rubbery soot on the inside of the tire which makes accurate balancing impossible. also you're control arm bushings could be worn.. i've had a set of daizen bushings on backorder for 4 months now so good luck finding them without having to replace the whole control arm.
