Ericat53 Posted August 30, 2003 Share Posted August 30, 2003 I could use some advice on what might be wrong with my stereo. I purchased this car just a few months ago. Problem is, when I first bought the car, the radio would decide to play only when it wanted too. I noticed that whenever the radio would play, the light for the panel would come on as well. The antenna would also go up. It was like that for a while. The tape player works, as well as the cd changer. Both of those play fine, but still without the panel light. Now the radio will not play at all, the antenna never goes up, and the panel light never comes on. It is the stock Pioneer premium unit. I checked the connections in the back of the unit, and everything's plugged in fine. I was told by a mechanic from the lexus dealership that the power antenna would not have anything to do with the panel light. So what else could be wrong?
