mejaz Posted June 1, 2007 Share Posted June 1, 2007 SO I am wondering once your LS is out of warranty and it got close to 100K miles, do you still take it back to the dealer for services or just go to a cheaper shop? I can understand if it needed anything major but what about simple oil changes? Also any recommendation for a shop in Austin TX area? tofu Posted June 1, 2007 Share Posted June 1, 2007 Take it to a shop will save you a bunch of money.. I know a few shops in Austin that can do decent jobs.. Do you live around Lamar and 183??? I know a mechanic that used to work for Champion Toyota as a Master Mechanic and he just opened his own shop few months ago. Let me know if you want to try him out..
