HatBe Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 These are the issues that I have with 92 LS400. The car is in good shape, no leaks, still running smooth and strong, I love this car. I just want to share these with you guys. 42K miles: (1996) - Power steering pump problem, replaced - Review mirror getting dark, replaced - Door lock switch malfunction, replaced 100K miles: (2001) - AC climate control LCD display failed, my co-worker changed later at 145K miles 115K miles: (2002) - Tachometer needle light only haft way, replaced the whole dashboard display, $150 150K miles: (2006) - power steering pump leak, rebuild, $250 - replace high pressure hose, $220 - steering valve malfunction, replaced, bought at eBay for $80 152K miles: (2006) - AC compressor lock up, and then function again, recharged R12 and ran for 8 months, $85 before second leak 160K miles (2007) - Leak at rear main seal, repaired at the transmission shop, $450 - Leak at oil tube, changed the o-ring dipstick, parts cost $7 - 161K miles (2007) - AC leak again, convert to R134a and find leak, replaced 2 o-rings and a gasket at the compressor, $270$ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
