I have the latest NAV DVD (I think its v6) and am unable to use the "volume screen hack" to select the override button to use most of the NAV features while driving. No reply from this site nor another Lexus RX site. jbarhorst2 Posted July 28, 2007 Share Posted July 28, 2007 Here's how it works on my 2001 RX300. Press the MENU button. Touch SYSTEM OPTION on the screen. Touch the screen in the following locations in this order: UPPER LEFT CORNER LOWER LEFT CORNER UPPER LEFT CORNER LOWER LEFT CORNER LOWER RIGHT CORNER Touch OVERRIDE DRIVE. Then you press BACK and then the MAP button or something to get out of that screen. You will need to do this each time you start the car and want to use this function.
