divitra Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I have just purchased a CPO 02 LS430 and it is quite a ride. I just have a question I would like an opinon on. The car is extremely quiet but while cruising down the highway (never heard it when stopped) there is a cracking noise I hear say 3-4 times on a 20 mile trip. It sounds exactly like a pebble hitting the windshield but it is coming form the interior of the car. It is not that loud but it is noticeable. At first I thought it was exactly that, road debris hitting the windshield but it happens too often for that.
