Shutting Off The Speed Limiter

Recommended Posts

last night i was trying to achieve the maximum speed limit, so i head to the highway

it went over 260 about 266

then a speed limit reducted the speed to about 250

when i was going on 263 on 6th gear the gas pedal didnt reached it maximum about 30% is left

so i head over my text books and made simple calculation on the 30% remaining throtle

i think if anyone can shut down the speed limit the the car may reach to 299.921 or a bit more depending on the surroundings

the question is how to shut of and let the car go to its limit

From My understanding the Transmissions are the one's that have sensor that does not allow for this to Happen for "Safety REasons" U should ask a local mechanic to remove that Sensor ! Hope this Helps!

Well acutally, this is what u have to do. Go to '' http://www.tomsracing.co.jp/e/comp/lexus/g...ng/89840-t.html ". That link should be the direct site to the product. The speed limiter problem u have is considered an air cut off.

http://www.tomsracing.co.jp/e/comp/lexus/gs50/engine.html, this one should bring you to the porducts page for Tom's Racing in japan.

Oh, and by the way, does anyone know the Hp rating for the stock transmission on the gs300 and 350 ( same transmission).
