hi everyone, this is my first time so i dont really know how this work but i have two questions for you.

1. I want to exchange the transmission fluid on my 99 es 300 but i do not know where the bolt to release the the oil is located and what kind of tranny fluid should i buy

2. when my engine is cold, it stalls when the firt time i start it up, i have to step on the gas and bring the idling up to over 2500 rpm for a few minutes for it not to stall, can anyone tell me what is going on and how to solve it.

thank you

1. There are two drain plugs on the transaxle, one on the pan and one on the differential. Both need a hex socket, remove both with the dipstick out to drain. You can refill with Dexron III or Toyota Type-T4, you might get it at the dealer and ask them for the metal gaskets for the drain plugs.

2. Idle air control motor. Clean it or replace it, be sure to use a new gasket on this also.
