Headlights Are Turning On When Car Is Off

woke up this morning a my headlights were on,not the park lights or tail lamps just the headlights,

i went out and turn them off had to switch the car on than off.next 15 mins they were back on

its raining so iam going to disconnect the battery for now anyone had this problem ,i am thinking relay.

Sounds like a relay , is the car lights in auto mode?

Don't disconnect your battery or you'll have some driveability problems for the next few days! The ECM "forgets" all the settings and you have to "re-teach" it how to respond all over again. It's a PITA. If you just want to keep the headlights from coming on, pull the fuse.

When you start troubleshooting, first check to see if it is the high beams or low beams that are on. Low beams could be a problem with the auto-on feature or the headlight relay switch. If it is high beams, then look at the flasher on the light switch stalk.
