charlesincharge
Any 12 year old great car may need a new seat for the pilot due to all the squirming around in it over the years. I might need one on my 95 in a couple of years or less. anyone know anything? How about Factory or Lexus re-appolstering, or no?
JimSC400
read somewhere while thinking about reupholstering my seats that http://leatherseats.com/ has a whole leather seat covers for the SC for about 700-800 dollars. Kind of expensive since only the driver seats has a small rip. Anyone have other alternatives or ideas. I have heard leather repairs are poorly done most of the time. Dop
Worn leather seats: Older coupes tend to have cracked and callous leather seats, especially if kept ungaraged in dry/arid climates without window tint. If the sun damage is severe enough to bother you... Leatherseats.com offers a complete leather-vinyl combo replacement kit for the SC for ~$600. Katzkin.com offers a complete genuine leather replacement kit for the SC for ~$600 also. Custom leather applications are available at both sites. Or get S2k seats or aftermarket race seat. SCdriver
Check out ebay as some nice tan leather seats are being parted out from a '97 SC400. Just enter lexus sc400 parts in the auto parts search and look under the interior listings.
