  1. HID kits are cheap nowadays, 140 ish shipped, try xenonlink.com. I have their hid and it's great.
  2. Looks clean, and kinda plain. I have an sc400 and it has more goodies on it.
  3. My choice is 19x9 front and 19x10 rear, offset is plus 30 all around, fender modification is required.
  4. What a good find. You can keep it or sale it back for more, either way you cant go wrong.
  5. Injen or any (your) state legal intake. Ebay or where ever its cheap.
  6. Im assuming that you did not take apart your headlights and just polish and buff the outside. If that's so, you need to take the headlight cover and wetsand the inside of it, and reseal the cover back so you dont have to worry about the water leaking in. Done.
  7. Im sure you can get the timing belt down cheaper about 400 bucks from a small local shop. So If you're worried about it, then you should go change it. That reminds that I need to do mine too.
  8. A good excuse to get carbon fiber doors!
  9. Nice, you got a pretty good deal. I think with oil, you can use any brand new... you dont really need to go with synthetic. Fix all the problems you have now with the car and do regular maintanance, you should be good. There's other threads on car care and what not so chekeraccho (check it out, yo).
  10. I was also looking getting wheels for my sc400, check out this thread... http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158592 Hope that helps.
  11. Worn leather seats: Older coupes tend to have cracked and callous leather seats, especially if kept ungaraged in dry/arid climates without window tint. If the sun damage is severe enough to bother you... Leatherseats.com offers a complete leather-vinyl combo replacement kit for the SC for ~$600. Katzkin.com offers a complete genuine leather replacement kit for the SC for ~$600 also. Custom leather applications are available at both sites. Or get S2k seats or aftermarket race seat.
  12. oem and use the anti squeak stuff on the pads and caliber.
  13. Just replace the axle and the control arm, that should be too bad. You can get the axle and control arm from a junkyard for about 100-200 bucks and -the labor isnt that bad. It would only take about 1-2 hours to replace if you do it yourself and have someone know what they are doing. I have really messed with the SC rear suspension but I suspect it would be too bad. I would help you, but right now I have a broken ankle. Well good luck with it, but yea... that definitely sucks.
  14. If it's the starter, you can get the solenoid rebuilt for less than 100 bucks, I dont know if you have a place over there that does that. Or I would just buy a new starter if you plan to keep the car, and used one if you're cheap and dont care.
  15. I just bought my 95, it has 120K on it and it costed me 7200. It seem like you got a pretty good deal. Powersteering leak is pretty common, just fix it asap so it doesnt kill your alternator. I would rebuilt the engine and tranny accordingly. The engine I heard should last over 200k+ if the owner took care of it. Is your tranny doing something funny when you drive it?
