ldblair2000
I think that it's behind the glove box but after turning the black knobs it doesn't come down? How do I replace the filter and where is it? Thanks!
grnsc40095
ldblair2000, Are you mistaken the black nobs for clips, that hold the undercover? Look to these steps as guidance for the Sc430, although the directions aren't for your model it should be similar to the 430. http://web.ace.net.au/soarer/air_conditioner_filter.html FROM A SC 300/400 http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...mp;#entry202370 FROM A LS400

Gary Naskrent
Take out the two black bolts, one on each side of the glove compartment (inside). Take bolts completely out. Use a cloth with a pair of pliers so you don't damage the bolts. Lower the glove compartment door. The filter will be inisde of the glove compartment. Around $25-30. Found one on ebay a couple of months ago for $12.
Jaysmith
Ok, I just changed the cabin filter on the 2004 sc430. Step 1: open the glove box. step 2: the two black knobs on side of glove box, turn so they point at you. Then pull out.The glove box should fall down. Step 3: The filter cover is horizontal. lift up and pull out. Step 4; Pull filter out. It is so easy.
Ceeps
it is behind the glove box, the pins have to be snapped out with pliers; a tray behind the glove box holds the filter
