Hi everyone.

I own a 91 Lexus Ls 400 with a little over 220k miles on it. I just replaced the fuel injectors last week and hooked up all the fuel emissions hoses and all that. When I started the car up, the idle was down about 800 rpms and even lower when in drive. I replaced the throttle body sensor to see if that helped and that did help a little.

My question is could it be the Map sensor needs to be replaced, is there a certain position the throttle body sensor needs to positioned at, or does the ecu need to be reprogrammed to balance the air/fuel ratio? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks

Your car doesn't have a MAP sensor. If I remember correctly, your car should idle at around 600 rpm's. Where does it idle at in gear?

No it has a Map sensor. Or is it called a MAF sensor? The car idles at 800 rpm on drive but the whole car shakes when in drive or reverse.

i would start with checkin ... the fuel injector one more time makesure its working ...+ clean ur throttle body .. i think/guess ur throttle body sensor is not position correctly ... ur ideal is on ur throttle sensor .. and clean the MAF and see that help --- good luck
