SKperformance Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 wetsand then either paint it with a new coat of black and clear or just go straight clear over it.
mburnickas Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Between the front and rear doors of my 99 es 300, the black clear coat appears to be fading badly. How do I fix this? It is called a piller. Like SK stated you could paint it, but I think spending the $36 (I think) is better worth the time, effoct, better looks etc. This part is known for this defect, per say.
SKperformance Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I forgot the simpler way of fixing it which is to go to a sign store and get some black vinyl which would be quick and last more than a few years for less than $10
