remyvegas Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 My 93 sc300 is still acting up. This last winter, the heat went out. Turned out to be the heater control valve. I joined together the two vacum lines and had fantastic heat. Now it is time for some A/C and I am having cooling issues. I put the lines back (if someone has a photo/diaghram of the configuration to make sure I did it correctly) but both setups did nothing. Is there something else I need to do now to acheive cool air? Thanks
92Lex Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Take it to a shop to check for leaks and make sure that the A/C compressor is actually "kicking on."
Dominious Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I'm kinda new to the forum, but what you can try is actually going under both pass and driver seats and there are vents under there, some times over time stuff gets piled into the vents and the air isn't able to pass threw as well as it should be able to, my car (92 sc400) was doing the same thing, i found about a grocery bag full of stuff in the vents under the seats, now it blows perfect
