Recently, the mold outside the passenger side of the quarter panel window mold fell off my RX330 (either through highway driving or the car wash) and the one on my driver side feels really lose too. it's the small triangular window closest to the trunk to give you a visualization. I went to a local lexus parts dealer and they told me that they don't sell the mold separately and that I would need to order the part for the window and the mold which costs over 125 dollars. I would think that they would be able to sell the molding separately but so far it's not been the case. Have any of you run into the same issue? I would need to pay the 125 for the part and 200 for labor but the parts guy said that he has heard of this happening quite often. Unfortunately, I purchased the car with 75k miles and it's already outside of its warranty. I'm just wondering if this is a common issue for RX owners and if there's a better way to take care of it.
