norm1949j
Heat does not come through vent below 200RPM. Of course waited the 15 warmup. The air flow does not seem to change. In a perhaps unrelated problem... the normal idle of 700- 800 RPM will occasionally (perhaps once in 1 hr of stop and go traffic) drop to 300 RPM and my 95 SC400 dies. Any ideas on this topic (topics)?
jzz30
hmmm... my brother has a 95 LS that had similar problems where it would die. he got a refurbished ecu and it fixed the problem.
xibalba16
I have a 95 SC400, and I dismantled the Air Flow Meter and Housing to clean it, dropped the poor thing, and now it doesn't send info in the air back to the computer, since then I have been having the exact problems that you are having. Does it seem to sputter when you are accelerating?
LLS
You need to top off your coolant, it is too low to reach the heater core when not under load. TOP it OFF.
