9779 Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I'm new here. I have a 97 LS400. I Found what appears to be a leak at bottom of transmission tunnel near bolts. Is this common? What does it take to fix the problem? The car still shifts smoothly and I only found it because I was looking under the car. There is no sign of leak on floor beneath car. Any help would be appreciated.

miamistyle Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I had what I thought was a leak near the bottom trans bolts but wound up being a seal on the side of the transmission that leaked down. As said it could be anything.
