qha_vn Posted March 13, 2007 Share Posted March 13, 2007 i notice that the engine gets very noisy when turning on the air con. sounds like a faulty bearing. i am not sure if it is really the compressor which makes the noise or other running parts i.e. alternator, drive belt tensioner... on heavy load is there a tricky thing here to identify? larryp Posted March 13, 2007 Share Posted March 13, 2007 Probably the compressor or the compressor clutch. Have a friend engage the AC while you look under engine.
