3rd timer
I drive a 2006 IS 250 AWD that I love BUT 4 times the VSC light (and engine/warning light too) comes on when starting up AND STAYS ON. It doesn't happen when driving, but when starting up next day after a hot ride home. I am now scheduled for an overnight service, but if someone knows the solution, or even if this problem is common, I'd like to know. Thanks, X3r
bartkat
It's throwing a code. You should have them read to code and correct the problem.

Thanks, X3r I had that happen when I took the car out during a blizzard (Valentines Day 2007) to have some fun. I probably confused the system by activating the VSC too frequently. The lights you describe came on. After letting it sit for an hour it reset.
