deadmilenko Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 I am looking at buying a 99 Lx470 good price only bad thing it hasnt been to the Dealer, or any shop for a PM service since it had 22K on it. Currently it has 104K on it. Is the motor in a 1999 LX470 a interference motor? I just got a quote to change the Timing belt, Timing belt tensioner pulley(s) (is there one or two parts to this pulley), water pump, add anti-freeze and change out serpentine belt and belt pulley. labor $400 parts + $628 Total = $1030 What is everyones thought on this price. Being that this is the first estimate that I have recieved I dont know whether it is a good/fair/high price. This estimate is from a non-dealer. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
