Gas Pedal Lockup

2001 RX300 74,000 miles, all wheel drive. The gas pedal sometime locks up when I stop at a traffic light or at stop sign. I have to press slightly harder on gas pedal to get the car going again. Once the car is in motion, the gas pedal is back to normal.

This happened after 2 month storage (vacation) with battery disconnected.

Any advises?
