Problem With Power To A/c And Car Stereo..

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I found it yesterday and think its great.

Last week I turned my car on and the Car Stereo didn't turn on. It had no power. I tried the A/C and it didn't have any power either. Everything else in the car had power. One minute later the Stereo came back and power was restored. Anyone have any idea what can be causing this? :(

Also, for the past year I have noticed the lights in the interior Panel (MPH,Needles,A/C) are losing power. My mechanic said explained that its a common problem with Lexus cars and said the cost to fix it would be over $1,000. I don't remember any more details after he said it would cost $1,000, I knew I couldn't afford it. Anyone else had this problem with their Lexus?

yes the panel lights are a common problem.but it dont cost 1000 to fix!look on ebay and find it for like 200 bucks or sometimes even cheaper!

as for the stereo and ac going out check your fuses and if its not that then i would think you might have a short somewere.
